After seeing how much I’ve accomplished this year, it only makes me want to do more in 2014. I want to end 2014 in a better place than I did this year (whatever that means). I have new goals that I want to accomplish that I didn’t even think about this year. I mainly want to grow this year, so I will call this the year of growth and all my goals will stem from this idea in one shape or another. On that note, here are my 2014 New Year’s Resolution: Continue reading →
This year has been such a growing experience for me. I lost weight and I gained weight. I got good grades and I got bad grades. I made new friends and lost touch with some old ones. I gained new sense of confidence. I learned so much about myself as a person. This year I realized that I have to love myself, fat or skinny, good grades or bad grades, friendly or mean, because I’m all I have. I learned that nothing is forever and I have to make the best of what I have right now. I realized that I can plan for the future but right now is what matter. I was scared to look at these goals again because I now that I have changed since I made them. I am smarter and more self aware now. I will go through these resolutions with a clear head and judge whether the person in 2012 would approve of how well I’ve done combined with my 2013 self who doesn’t see black and white. On that note, here are my 2013 New Years Resolutions in review: Continue reading →
I am so sorry that I haven’t posted in 2 months, that’s like 2 years in the blogging world. In August I went on vacation and then I was doing summer homework and then in September school started and it has been insane ever since. I’m taking 4 AP classes and am going crazy. I’m stressed out and strung out half the time. I also joined a couple of clubs (and quit cross country…not enough time) and decided that my friend and I are going to start a feminist/gender equality club at school which has also taken up some time. First off, I am so sorry I haven’t been blogging for the past 2 weeks. I’ve been so lazy for the past month with my life consisting of watching Netflix, eating and sleeping. Now I’m being forced to realize that school starts in about 4 weeks, cross-country starts in roughly 2 weeks and I still have a ton of summer assignments to do.
…I gained weight. And not just 5 lbs like up to my highest weight. I thought that I could wait to tell you guys till I lost all the weight. But I realized that I did it last time with you guys and I need to do it this time with you guys. I’ve found through this journey that I need to have a goal to work towards. My first one was vacation and my second was the half marathon. My next big goal to compete in a bikini competition next year. I also want to be featured on bodybuilding.com’s Teen Amateur Bodybuilder of the Week. I saw this girl on it and I know that if she can do it, I can do it too. Continue reading →
I looked at another blog today and saw that she revisits her goals every month. And them I realized that it was halfway through the year and I hadn’t looked at my resolutions in months! So here is my New Year’s Resolutions Mid Year Revisit! Continue reading →
I know I’ve been MIA with posts other than Half Marathon training and I am so sorry. My life has been hectic lately with APs and the half marathon and school. I’ve been really overwhelmed and had no time to anything but study and workout. Now I’m alittle better off because APs are over and my classes are starting to warm down in preparation for finals. This means that I’ll have more time to post! My creative juices have began to flow and I have so many ideas. I’m also planning a huge summer haul so watch out for a twofer post, one about how to shop smart and one with everything I bought. I’m planning to go to a Goodwill for the first time ever and plan on buying a ton of cheap stuff and DIY a ton of it. I’ve been watching youtube videos and have tons of inspiration.
