Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2013 RTW Review

In this collection, Dolce & Gabbana use mosaics from the Catholic Church on many of the pieces.  They also managed to use it in a way that can be work/school appropriate.  I also love the gold accents on almost every look.  I especially love the gold tiaras, huge statement earrings and gold shoes.  The best part is they managed to throw in red, gray, black and white and still make the outfits bold, which I’m gonna try to do this coming fall.  Look at the entire collection here.  Here are my favorite looks:

First Half Marathon Training

Yesterday I ran my second 5k(recap coming soon) and the next logical step in my mind is to run a half marathon.   It’s one of my New Year’s Resolutions and now that I have fixed my foot issue I think I’m ready.  I’ve created a personal plan for myself that is based on my goals and schedule.  Since I’m also not sure what each week will hold, I will be posting my schedule on a weekly basis.  Here is my schedule for this week: Continue reading

Fausto Puglisi Fall 2013 RTW Review

In this collection, Fausto Puglisi combines patterns, plaid and bright pastel colors to make fall interesting.  All of look also have beautiful shoes, some strappy sandals, pointy heels and chunky heel booties with beautiful matching patterns on them.  I also love the pin straight hair and pastel purple lips on every girl.

Styling Assignment #3: Boudoir

This is the 3rd styling assignment!  The theme was boudoir and I think I captured it.  I was inspired as I was scrolling through tumblr and saw this beautiful picture of Samantha Barks in Cabaret.  When I think of boudoir I couldn’t help but think of how sexy and classy it can make a woman look.
